Maroo Thul
Maroo Thul is a 2nd-7th century AD Buddhist monument located 6 km northeast of Faridabad, Sindh.
The partially ruined structure consists of an inner cylindrical core made of large burnt bricks (11"x7"x3") and a damaged outer mud-brick layer. Architectural features like a surviving staircase suggest it once had upper levels. With its inner diameter measuring 4'2" and walls 2'3" thick, the Thul showcases ancient engineering skills. However, both the brick core and mud exterior have suffered significant collapse from natural and human causes. Currently unprotected, this important historical site urgently requires professional conservation to prevent further loss of Sindh's Buddhist heritage.

Current Condition
Maroo Thul is partially collapsed, exposing its inner brick core with remnants of stairs, while the mud exterior continues to erode. The site is not protected or conserved by any government department. It remains vulnerable to weather and human activity.
