Timing
When to go
Rising heat, only for committed archaeology travellers.
Lowland Sindh is extremely hot, not recommended for touring.
Cooling plains; good for Karachi and coastal extensions.
Best window for Moenjodaro, Makli, and shrine circuits.

Fly to Karachi or Sukkur. Moenjodaro and Makli are long day trips or overnight stays near Larkana.
Faith and craft
Sufi shrines have their own etiquette, dress modestly, remove shoes, and ask before photographing devotees.
