Faiz Mahal stands in formal gardens at Khairpur, a pink-and-cream palace of arcaded verandas, slim columns, and small domed pavilions raised along its roofline. Built in the 1790s as the seat of the Talpur Mirs of Khairpur, it remains associated with the family, and its facade is among the most photographed pieces of architecture in upper Sindh.
