What Kind of Trip Is Yours?

Not just rooms. A quieter way into Pakistan.
Seventeen eco-conscious stays, chosen for where they sit, a sea-view room on the Balochistan coast, a pine lodge above Gilgit, a riverfront in Naran.
When to Go
Pakistan is a year-round destination if you follow the altitude, the mountains in summer, the plains and cities in winter.
Mar-MaySpring
Apricot and cherry blossom floods Hunza and Skardu. Lower valleys are green; passes still snowbound.
Jun-AugSummer
The high season up north, Khunjerab, Deosai and the trek routes open. Plains are hot; head for altitude.
Sep-NovAutumn
Clear skies, golden poplars, and the best mountain photography of the year. Ideal all-round window.
Dec-FebWinter
Snow festivals and jeep rallies up north; perfect weather for Lahore, the Potohar forts and the south.

Know Before You Go
Everything first-time visitors ask, and the parts GreenPak handles for you.
Visas & Permits
Many nationalities qualify for Pakistan's online e-visa. Some northern border zones need an NOC, we arrange permits for every trip we run.
Money
The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) is cash-first, especially in the north. Cards work in cities; carry cash for valleys and bazaars.
Best Time to Go
April-October for the mountains; November-March for Lahore, the forts, and the southern coast. Plan by altitude, not by month.
Getting Around
Domestic flights link Islamabad to Skardu and Gilgit; beyond that it's private drivers and jeeps on mountain roads. We handle the logistics.
Connectivity
Buy a local SIM (Jazz or Zong) on arrival for the best coverage. Signal is patchy in the high valleys, part of the appeal.
Health & Safety
No mandatory vaccines, but altitude is real above 3,000m, we build in acclimatisation. Our guides carry first aid and stay reachable 24/7.
