About Larkana & Mohenjo-daro
Mohenjo-daro, in Larkana District, was built around 2500 BCE and was one of the largest cities of the Indus Valley Civilisation, contemporary with ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a site museum and a later Buddhist stupa on its mound.
