Ras Muari, better known as Cape Monze, lies on the 25 km belt of rocky and sandy coast between Mubarak village and Yousuf Goth in west Karachi. The coast is a feeding and hatching ground for turtles, with whales and dolphins offshore. Its lighthouse, built in 1914, is a 48 metre concrete tower still in use.
