Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai

Bhit Shah's three-day Sufi festival honouring Sindh's greatest poet, nights of raag, the Shah Jo Risalo sung at his shrine.

The Urs at Bhit Shah commemorates Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, the 18th-century Sufi poet whose Shah Jo Risalo is the cornerstone of Sindhi literature. Each year devotees and musicians gather for three days of raag, the poet's verses sung through the night in the surirs he composed.
