Siraj-ji-Takri features exposed stone walls, burnt brick walls, and mud brick walls that are linked to rooms and a stupa. The site holds historical significance for the Buddhist heritage of Sindh. The site is privately owned and is not protected under legal measures. It was mentioned in the unpublished M. Phil thesis titled Early History of Sindh with special reference to Buddhism (2000), authored by M.F. Bukhari.
