Masjid-e-Tooba, Karachi's 'Round Mosque' in DHA: a single 65-metre dome over a prayer hall with no pillars, completed in 1969 for 5,000 worshippers.
Masjid-e-Tooba, known locally as Gol Masjid, the Round Mosque, stands near Korangi Road in Phase II of the Defence Housing Authority, Karachi. Its great dome rests on a low surrounding wall, with no pillar or column inside the prayer hall.
