This is the tomb of a Talpur Mir near Mirpur Khas. The register identifies him as Mir Ali Murad Khan, who reigned from 1787 to 1837. The original building collapsed, and it was rebuilt in reinforced concrete in 2001, so what stands today is a modern reconstruction on the old site.

History

The Talpurs, a Baloch dynasty, ruled Sindh from 1783, when Mir Fateh Ali Khan took power, until the British conquest in 1843. Sindh was divided among branches of the family at Hyderabad, Khairpur and Mirpur Khas. The tomb is listed as SD-78.
