Sibi Rock Carving
The Sibi Valley in Balochistan hosts rock carvings dating back to the Kushan period (circa 1st–5th century CE), some displaying Buddhist motifs such as simplified stupas or stupa-like shapes.
These carvings are believed to be located along ancient trade or pilgrimage routes, linking Balochistan to the wider Gandharan Buddhist cultural zone. Although these petroglyphs haven’t been extensively documented or preserved, they offer intriguing evidence of Buddhist influence reaching into remote parts of Balochistan.
