Sirnikot
Sirnikot is an important Buddhist site located along the left bank of the Indus River in Sindh, Pakistan, specifically in deh Sadhoja, near New Jatoi town in Taluka Moro, Naushahro Froze District.
The site features the Sirnikot Fort, which follows the architectural style of the late Bronze Age Harappa civilization, using baked bricks and clay/mud in its construction. Near the fort, there is a stupa made of unbaked bricks, standing 70 feet tall, with a staircase leading to the top. Terracotta elephant faces, balls, and carved bricks with floral and leaf designs have been discovered at the site. The fort's walls are 10 feet high, and the area spans five acres. The Sirnikot site is associated with the spread of Buddhism to Sindh during the empire of Ashoka the Great.

Current Condition
Sirnikot, an ancient fortified site in Sindh, shows signs of erosion, looting, and neglect due to limited conservation efforts. Its mud-brick structures are deteriorating, and the site lacks regular maintenance and protective infrastructure. It falls under the Sindh Directorate of Antiquities & Archaeology but remains largely unpreserved.
