Veer Thari Site
Veer Thari is a large archaeological site near Seerani in Badin, divided into two mounds— Mound-I and Mound-II—dating from the 7th to 12th century AD.
Mound-I measures 577m in length, while Mound-II is 433m long; both are about 9 meters high. The site contains cultural remains from the Buddhist period, including burnt brick tiles with carved and stamped designs, as well as black and painted pottery. Later, the site was reused during the early Islamic period, evident from graves and the tomb of Shaikh Zakaria on the southern side. It was surveyed by CDC-EFT in May 2018.

Current Condition
Veer Thari, a documented Buddhist site surveyed in 2018, remains without official protection or preservation efforts. Despite its archaeological importance, no conservation work has been initiated. The site is exposed to natural erosion, neglect, and potential loss.
