The Buddhist site at Char Sar, near Bhai Kaly along the Char Sar route, is a Kushan-period archaeological location.

The site’s positioning along a route suggests it was accessible to travelers and pilgrims moving between nearby religious centers. Only emergency trenching and satellite monitoring of encroachment can salvage this silent witness to Gandhara’s monastic network before it becomes another asphalt casualty.
