A slender 6,000-metre granite spire above Karimabad beside Ultar Sar, the single most photographed skyline in Hunza.
Ladyfinger Peak, known locally as Bublimotin, is a slender granite spire rising to roughly 6,000 metres above Karimabad, immediately recognisable by its needle-thin summit block set beside the broader mass of Ultar Sar. It is the single most photographed mountain silhouette in Hunza, visible from Karimabad's rooftops, Baltit Fort, and most hotel terraces in the town, and has become an informal symbol of the valley.
Why go
Ladyfinger's improbable, needle-like profile makes it instantly recognisable even to visitors who don't otherwise follow mountaineering, and it appears in nearly every wide shot of Karimabad. It is a technical climbing objective for mountaineers, not a trekking peak, first climbed only in the 1980s.
No special arrangement is needed to see Ladyfinger, any Karimabad stay delivers the view. Use Plan a trip if you want a Hunza itinerary built around the best viewpoints and photography light.
