Sheranwala Garden Baradari
This Baradari was built by Maharaja Ranjit Sing, during his reign.
It is a good specimen of Sikh period secular architecture of pavilion type. Its interior is richly decorated in frescoes, depicting floral, geometrical and animal designs. The other important features of it are its carved wooden doors which have been finished in delicate and elaborate geometrical and flower patterns.

History
Mahan Singh led the Sukerchakia misl and died in 1790; his samadhi stands just outside the garden's north-eastern corner. His son Ranjit Singh, born in Gujranwala in 1780, went on to found the Sikh Empire. The baradari is richly frescoed with floral, geometric and animal designs and fitted with finely carved wooden doors. It was damaged in the 1992 riots that followed the demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, and later restored under a government project.
Historical Significance
One of the earliest surviving Sikh-period garden buildings, predating the Sikh Empire itself, in the town where its founder was born.
