Gabin Jabba
A high meadow and forest destination above Matta in Swat, known for summer camping and winter snow landscapes.
Gabin Jabba is a mountain meadow destination in the Matta side of Swat, reached through the Lalkoo corridor. The name is also written Gabeen Jabba or Gabina Jabba. Those spellings belong to one place; nearby Bishigram and other meadows remain separate locations.
Why go
- ✦High meadow landscape
- ✦Pine and mixed mountain forest
- ✦Summer camping
- ✦Winter snow activities when conditions allow
Aliases, Not Duplicate Places
Gabin, Gabeen, and Gabina Jabba are common Roman-script variants of the same name. Search should recognise all three while returning one canonical page and one map pin.
Do Not Merge It with Bishigram
Bishigram is a nearby settlement and approach area, not another name for the meadow destination. Link the two for route planning while keeping coordinates and visitor information distinct.
Treat Winter as a Different Journey
Snow changes road access, travel time, equipment needs, and available services. Confirm conditions locally instead of applying summer driving guidance to a winter visit.
Planning tip
When to go, May to October for green meadows and road access; winter visits require current snow, road, and vehicle information.
Getting there, Travel from Mingora toward Matta and continue through the local road network toward Lalkoo and Gabin Jabba. Use a locally suitable vehicle for the upper section and allow extra daylight.
Allow, A long day from central Swat, or one night for a slower meadow and forest visit.
