The birthplace of Mata Sahib Kaur, wife of Guru Gobind Singh, inside Rohtas Fort.
Born to Bhai Ramu Bassi's family in the village within the fort, she married Guru Gobind Singh in Samvat 1757. The domed building, rebuilt under Maharaja Ranjit Singh, is kept locked.

History
Rohtas is a village in district Jhelum, just 10 kilometers south of Dina a town on GT road. It is famous for the fort built here my great king Sher Shah Suri in mid 16th century. Mata Sahib Kaur Ji was born in Rohtas Village settled within Rohtas Fort in the family of Bhai Ramu Bassi. She was married to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji on 18th Visakhi, Samvat 1757. Kalghidhar Guru Gobind Singh Ji was the founder of Panth Khalsa that is why at the time of last rites the saying of Mata Sahib Kaur and Guru Gobind Ji are recited. The birth place of Mata is in a locality inside the main gate. The domed Janamasthan is visible behind the houses from a distance of about 100 steps from the entrance to the locality. It was repaired during the reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Bhola turned out to be the caretaker of Gurdwara Mata Kaur ji.
