Musa ka Musalla, 'Moses' mat', is a peak of about 4,060 metres at the head of the Siran Valley in Mansehra District. The name comes from a shepherd called Musa who is said to have prayed at the top, where a small shrine now stands. Several summer routes reach it, from Balakot via Nadi Bangla, from Paras through the Sharran forest, or from Shinkiari.
