Tanda Dam, or Tanda Lake, is a small dam and lakeside park in Kohat District. Its reservoir covers about 405 hectares and feeds canals to Jerma, Tappi, Baqizai, Dhoda, Shahpur and other villages.

History

It was inaugurated by President Ayub Khan in 1962 and began working on 17 July 1967. The lake has been a Ramsar site since 23 July 1976 and draws migratory birds from Siberia and the Caspian in winter.
