Chak Pandit Temple, Bhimber
A Hindu temple of Shiva and Krishna with two shikharas beside the Chamb–Gujrat road in Bhimber, from the early 19th century.
Chak Pandit Mandir stands on the east side of the road from Chamb to Gujrat, near the village of Chak Pandit in Barnala tehsil, Bhimber. It is a temple of Shiva and Krishna with two sanctums under two shikharas, the larger crowned by a finial and painted with an image of Krishna above a base of lotus petals. One sanctum holds a seat for the image of the deity, the other a Shiva lingam with a channel for offerings of water and milk, and a narrow path lets devotees walk around both. It dates from about 1800–1850.
