Lahore's “Festival of Lights”, the Urs of the Sufi poet Shah Hussain, celebrated with lamps, music, and devotion.
Mela Chiraghan marks the Urs of the 16th-century Punjabi Sufi poet Shah Hussain (Madho Lal Hussain), held near Shalimar Gardens in Lahore. Once one of the largest festivals in Punjab, it blends lamps, dhamaal, and devotional music over several days.
