Istor-o-Nal is the third highest mountain of the Hindu Kush, in Chitral. It crowns a massif with eleven summits above 7,000 metres and lies a few kilometres north-east of Tirich Mir, across the Tirich Glacier. Its name means horseshoe in Khowar.

Because Tirich Mir hides it from most viewpoints, Istor-o-Nal is little seen and less known. It is the 68th highest independent peak in the world.
