Saidgai Lake, or Saidgai Dand, lies at about 3,500 metres in the upper reaches of Ushirai Dara in Upper Dir, north-west of Gabin Jabba and near the Swat border. About a kilometre long and half as wide, it is surrounded by high mountains and pastures. It is a popular summer trek from June to August and under snow for the rest of the year.
