Budhu ka Awa Monument
It is located at Begumpura on south of Shalimar Road/G.
A domed square tomb at Begumpura in Lahore, built in the royal Mughal manner but long neglected — the register places it among the buildings to be saved from further decay.

History
It stands south of the Grand Trunk Road in Mughalpura, opposite Gate No. 3 of the University of Engineering and Technology and near Gulabi Gate, east of the walled city. Its builder followed the royal style, but the monument has not been maintained to that standard since.
Historical Significance
Representative of the large body of Mughal Lahore that survives without protection or attention.

Planning tip
Best Time to Visit, October to March. Lahore's summer is fierce and the Walled City offers little shade; December and January can be heavily smog-bound.
Getting there, All within Lahore. The Walled City monuments — the gates, Mariam Zamani, Wazir Khan's Baradari and Hammam — sit close enough to walk between; Shahdara, Baghbanpura and Mughalpura are a short drive out.
Allow, Thirty minutes to an hour at each; a full day for the Walled City circuit.
