Due to Bhai Kamlia's admonition, the bricks remained unbaked. Bhai Buddhu sought Guru Arjan Dev Ji's blessing, who assured him the unbaked bricks would sell at the same price as baked ones. A surge in demand led to all bricks being sold. In gratitude, Bhai Buddhu built a Gurdwara, later managed by Mahants of Satlani. Under the 1927 Gurdwara Act, it came under the Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, and a new building was added in 1938. Post-partition, the site, including Buddhu’s tomb, is maintained by the Archaeological Department.
