Gircha, one of the oldest Wakhi villages of Upper Hunza, with an old mosque kept by the community.

Gircha is a village in Gojal Tehsil of Upper Hunza and one of the oldest Wakhi settlements there, said to have been founded by Bobo-e-Sufi, the first man to settle the region. Its name may come from 'grich', a hut by spring water. The village community has preserved an old mosque.
