Khalti Lake
A trout lake at 2,217 m in Ghizer that freezes hard enough for an ice hockey festival each January.

About
Each January the lake hosts the Khalti Ice Hockey Festival, part of the Gilgit-Baltistan tourism department's annual calendar. In summer it is a calm lake beside the road west from Gilgit.
