Sangni Fort stands near Takal village in Kallar Syedan tehsil, south-east of Rawalpindi. It is roughly square, about 44 metres a side and 9.5 metres high, with four bastions that are part octagonal and part semicircular. The walls are of brick laid in lime mortar, and the main gate is on the south, between two octagonal bastions.

History
The register dates it to 1799–1849, the Sikh period, while Wikipedia describes it as an early 17th-century Mughal fortress; the sources do not agree. It is listed as PB-U-66.
