Bumburet Valley
Bumburet, the largest of the three Kalasha valleys in Chitral: streams, walnut and apricot orchards and Kalash villages in the Hindu Kush.
Bumburet (Mumuret in Kalasha) is the largest of the three Kalasha valleys of Lower Chitral. It joins the Rumbur valley and then the Kunar valley at Ayun, about 20 km south of Chitral town. Streams, meadows and fields of walnut and apricot trees fill the valley, and it rises in the west to a pass on the Afghan border at about 4,500 metres.

History
The valley is home mainly to the Kalash people, whose culture and festivals draw visitors from across Pakistan and abroad.
