Rumbur, Rukmu in the Kalasha language, is one of the three Kalasha valleys of Lower Chitral District, alongside Bumburet and Birir. Most of its families are Kalasha, with a few Gujjar and Chitrali households. Visitors come to see Kalasha village life and the valley's fields and houses.
