Dangram Stupa
A ruined Buddhist stupa at Dangram near Mingora, Swat: a square base carrying three round storeys, with its stair on the west.
The stupa at Dangram, a village just outside Mingora, is one of the many Buddhist monuments of ancient Swat (Uddiyana). The register records it as rectangular in plan with a stairway facing west. Its first storey is square and the three above it are circular, stepping up to a raised dome. It is in a poor state, but the storeyed plan can still be read on the ground.

History
Swat was one of the great Buddhist lands of Gandhara, and its valleys are dotted with stupas and monasteries of the 1st to 5th centuries CE. Dangram is protected under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Antiquities Act and is listed as KPK-69 among the province's heritage sites.
