Panr Site
A Buddhist monastery and stupa court at Panr, on the edge of Mingora in Swat, built in local soapstone and excavated with fine green-schist sculpture.
Panr lies on the southern edge of Mingora, the main town of Swat. The site has two parts: a stupa court, where the main stupa stands among smaller votive stupas, and a monastery court beside it. The buildings are of soapstone, and excavation brought out sculpture and architectural pieces carved in pale green schist, the stone typical of Gandharan art.

History
Panr is one of the Buddhist settlements that grew up around ancient Mingora between the 1st and 5th centuries CE, alongside Butkara nearby. It is owned by the federal government and listed as KPK-66.
