Scrub-forest hills near Fateh Jang on the edge of the Kala Chitta range, a national park since 2020.
Kheri Murat is a protected area of scrub-forest hills on the edge of the Kala Chitta Range, near Fateh Jang and the M-1 motorway in Attock District. It was declared a national park in 2020, and its reserve forest covers about 8,740 acres.

About
The hills are subtropical thorn scrub: kikar, mesquite, sanatha, bansa and wild olive. The Punjab urial lives here, and partridges, which are under pressure from poaching. The park has marked nature trails and guided tours run by the Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department.
