Cathedral Church of the Resurrection, Lahore
Lahore Cathedral on the Mall, consecrated in 1887: a Neo-Gothic cathedral by John Oldrid Scott, seat of the Diocese of Lahore.
The Cathedral Church of the Resurrection, known as Lahore Cathedral, stands on the Mall opposite the Lahore High Court. Its Neo-Gothic building, originally of pink sandstone, was designed by John Oldrid Scott, son of George Gilbert Scott. Lahoris call it Kukar Girja, after the weathercock once mounted on its central lantern. It is the seat of the Diocese of Lahore of the Church of Pakistan.

History
The cathedral was completed and consecrated on 25 January 1887. Two towers with tall steeples were added in 1898; the steeples were taken down after the earthquake of 1911.
