Shujabad, south of Multan, is a planned 18th-century town, laid out symmetrically around four bazaars. A high wall still runs round the old city. It is deteriorating, but it stands in its original position.

History

Nawab Shuja Khan Sadozai, twice governor of Multan under Ahmad Shah Durrani, founded the city in 1750 and built its fortification wall between 1767 and 1772. It is listed as PB-P-187.
