Multan's Clock Tower, once called Northbrook Tower, was begun on 12 February 1884 and finished in 1888 to house the city's municipal offices. It stands on the ruins of the haveli of Ahmad Khan Sadozai, destroyed in the Siege of Multan. Its hall, first named Ripon Hall, was renamed Jinnah Hall after 1947 and is open for cultural events.
