A riverside town in Swat Kohistan where the Daral River meets the Swat, 60 km north of Mingora.
Bahrain takes its name, “two rivers”, from the point where the Daral joins the Swat River below the town. It stands at about 1,430 m (4,700 ft) on the right bank of the Swat, in the Swat Kohistan region.

About
Bahrain is the headquarters of Bahrain Tehsil in Upper Swat, once known in Torwali as Bhaunal. Most visitors know it for its riverside hotels and the view of the two rivers merging, but it is also a market for local handicrafts and the starting point of the trail up the Daral valley to Daral and Saidgai lakes. It makes an easy overnight between Mingora and Kalam. July, the warmest month, averages about 27 °C; January about 5 °C.

Best Time to Visit, May to September. The town is reachable most of the year, but the lake treks above it open only in summer.
