Fizagat Park lies on the bank of the Swat River at Fizagat, about a kilometre from Mingora, and is one of the most popular stops for visitors to the Swat valley. Its main feature is a stream of fresh water drawn from the river that runs through the park. Founded in 1984 by Malak Bairam Khan, then chairman of Mingora's municipal committee, it was enlarged and renewed in 2012–15 with Japanese help, with new trees, a bridge and solar lighting.
