On the Ground
Riverside guesthouses and platforms line the water at Keran. The valley here is a sensitive border area, so travel with current local guidance and keep documents handy.
Up the Valley
From Keran the road continues to Sharda's ruins and Kel, the gateway to Arang Kel and Ratti Gali. Most travellers move slowly, village to village.
