Malika Parbat, the 'Queen of the Mountains', is the highest peak in the Kaghan Valley and the Hazara region at 5,290 metres. It rises about 6 km south of Lake Saiful Muluk, near Ansoo Lake, and forms the backdrop to the lake's famous view. It has three summits, and only a handful of climbers have reached the top.
