Ginani Festival
Summer solstice thanksgiving in Hunza and Nagar, wheat harvest rituals and shared meals in the orchards.
Ginani (also Ginai) marks the wheat harvest with communal cooking, traditional dress, and dances in villages across Hunza and Nagar. It is quieter than polo season but deeply local.

- Base in Karimabad at GreenPak Hotel Hunza, village ceremonies are reached by short drives and walks.
Village scale
Ginani is celebrated hamlet by hamlet rather than in one grand arena. Travel with a guide who knows which communities welcome visitors on solstice day.
Summer window
Combine Ginani with Attabad Lake, Passu, or a Khunjerab attempt while high passes are open.
