Borith Lake
A lake at about 2,600 m near Husseini, upper Hunza, and a stopover for migrating ducks, geese and swans.
Borith Lake lies at about 2,600 m near Husseini and Ghulkin in Gojal, upper Hunza. It was once a winter hunting ground of the Mir of Hunza, whose small house on the lakeside hill is now the Borith Lake Hotel.

About
The lake is an important stop for migrating wildfowl: ducks, geese and swans pass through from March to June on their way north, and from September to November coming back. It has shrunk and turned brackish as glaciers recede and less water seeps into it.

Above Husseini and Ghulkin, off the Karakoram Highway in Gojal, upper Hunza.
