Vibrant Landscape of Hunza Valley
A short, bright introduction to Hunza — five days for its colour, its people, and its light. Arrival runs to Karimabad, the terraced heart of the valley; a full day covers Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, and the lanes between them, with Rakaposhi standing to the south the whole time. Then the turquoise of Attabad Lake — boats run in season — and a day north among the Passu Cones and the black ice of the glaciers that reach almost to the road. The ideal first taste of the Karakoram: no trekking required, road-based throughout, and short enough to fit a week off. In blossom season (late March–April) or autumn (October) the valley performs its famous colour changes, and this itinerary is exactly where you want to be standing.

Trip overview
This is our most-loved introduction to the north. You'll trek the gentle trail into Fairy Meadows for sunrise on Nanga Parbat, then follow the Karakoram Highway to Hunza for Baltit Fort, Attabad Lake, and the road to the Khunjerab Pass.
Small group, private transport, and time built in to slow down, with local guides who grew up in these valleys.
